UK launches new CCS competition; publishes first CCS Roadmap

On April 3, 2012, the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change published the first UK CCS Roadmap and Secretary Edward Davey launched a new competition for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), a key technology in the UK government’s drive to ensure future energy security and reduce emissions. Setting out the steps that the Government is taking to develop a new world-leading CCS industry in the 2020s.
